Wealthy Affiliate Credit System – The latest feature added to the Wealthy Affiliate platform to help it’s members. How does it work? Read all about it here!
Wealthy Affiliate Credit System – The Existing System
Wealthy Affiliate Credit System is the most exciting feature added to the Wealthy Affiliate Platform in 2016!
Not exactly a new feature but a better-refined feature of the existing credit system. 🙂
You see, in the existing Wealthy Affiliate platform, you are able to earn 2 types of credits.
Let’s call them Type A and Type B credits here for easy reference.
Type A Credits
You are able to earn this type of credits if you,
- Refer a free* starter member and he/she completes her profile set up – earn 2 credits.
- When the people you refer to Wealthy Affiliate purchase a domain – earn 2 credits.
- When you create training at Wealthy Affiliate and your training has created values for members. – earn 10 credits for each “quality” level promoted.
How much are these credits worth? You may ask.
Well, each of these credits is worth $0.50 (USD). You are able to encash them out when you meet the minimum threshold requirement and conversion rates.
Type B credits
There is also another type of credit which does not have $ values attached to it.
They cannot be used interchangeably between the different tools.
This type of credits is earned through,
- Giving a comment at SiteComments Tool – earn 1 credit.
- Giving a feedback at SiteFeedback Tool – earn 1 credit.
You can use these credits to,
- Request for a comment to your article at SiteComments Tool – requires 2 credits.
- Request for a feedback on your website at SiteFeedback Tool – requires 2 credits.
Wealthy Affiliate Credit System – The Refined System
First, you can access to your Credit Dashboard by clicking your profile picture at the top right-hand corner of Wealthy Affiliate’s members area.
When you are at the Dashboard, you will see two tabs.
Wealthy Affiliate now has classified the two types of credits I mentioned earlier in the existing system as Cash Credits and Community Credits.
In the refined credits system, the credits become more fluid and can be used interchangeably.
Let’s look into each type of Credits for more details.
Wealthy Affiliate Credit System – Cash Credits
You still can earn Cash Credits just like the existing system’s Type A credits.
However, in the refined credits system, you are now able to use physical $ to buy cash credits for your use.
Now you can use Cash Credits towards,
You can earn/buy Cash Credits from,
“Earn Cash Credits when training reaches a minimum level of visits, likes, and engagement. As training becomes popular you earn Cash Credits to use towards other systems within WA! You may also exchange these credits for USD!”
“When someone you referred to WA registers a domain through our SiteDomain platform, you earn $1 in cash credits to use towards other systems in WA! You may also exchange these credits for USD!”
Buy Credits (*new)
Cash Credits can be purchased so that you can use them towards any credit system within the community. You can use cash credits towards getting comments on your website through SiteComments, or for getting feedback on your sites through SiteFeedback.
Wealthy Affiliate Credit System – Affiliate Credits
Under Cash Credits, there is a side classification called Affiliate Credits.
The purpose of this classification is to let members know that these credits are earn through referring free* starter members who complete their profile.
You could encash these credits or use it on the other tools too.
However, there is a minimum threshold and conversion requirement before you can do that.
Refer Others to Wealthy Affiliate
“Referring others to WA can earn you significant commissions. On top of this, when your referrals setup their accounts by adding an image and description, you earn $1 in Affiliate Credits which can be cashed out once you reach a minimum balance”
“Affiliate credits are available to use or cash out when a minimum of 40 credits have been earned, and a 5% Starter to Premium upgrade percentage is maintained.”
Wealthy Affiliate Credit System – Community Credits
You earn Community Credits exactly like the existing Type B credits and they do not have $ values attached to it.
However, you are now able to use Community Credits interchangeably between SiteComments Tools and SiteFeedback Tools.
“Earn 1 community credit for every 1 SiteComments you offer on other people’s websites. Use 2 credits towards requesting your own website comments, or for requesting SiteFeedback”
“Earn 1 community credit for every 1 SiteFeedback comments you offer on other people’s websites. Use 2 credits towards requesting your own SiteFeedback, or for requesting SiteComments”
Wealthy Affiliate Credit System – Valid Concerns
As the new refined credit system kicks in, inevitably there are some valid concerns within the community. Including me. 🙂
Let’s take a look at some of them here.
(Click on the image to see Carson’s and Kyle’s reply.)
Wealthy Affiliate Credit System – Wealthy Affiliate
Wealthy Affiliate is the place where I learned about Affiliate Marketing. I started with zero knowledge on Online Business and do not even know how to build a Website.
During my past years being a Premium Member at Wealthy Affiliate, I saw many changes and new features added to the platform.
Reading Carson’s reply to our concerns, I believe there are going to be more refinement to be made to this new credit systems.
Kyle and Carson really put in a lot of effort to make this a true place to learn and earn without all the unnecessary hassles.
And Guess what?
The monthly premium we are paying now has not even increased by a cent!
