Get Paid Social was launched in Nov 2015 and it is still very new. It has plenty of flaws to iron out and changes are still happening right now and probably in the near future.

Get Paid Social Review – How does it work?
The concept of Get Paid Social is quite simple.
Jeff Long created a platform for 2 groups of people to leverage on each other.
For the Community – Paid To Click
It allows anyone to join for free to build up a community. The members of the community are able to select and perform tasks and get rewarded.
Each task usually pays out only in cents such as these.

Based on the time I am writing this review, the community has 113129 people and a total payout of $49,026.98 are earned by the community. Averaging 0.433 cents per person.
For the Internet Marketers – Creating Tasks and Rewards
It allows anyone to buy reward credits to create tasks that pay for each unique click from the community.

Build Your Email List
You will be able to build a targeted & qualified email list by paying the community a reward to join your list.
Increase Your Social Reach and Engagement
Get as many followers, likes & shares as your budget allows.
Drive Targeted Traffic to your Website
Reward the community to visit your Website.
For the Internet Marketers – Earning from Referrals
Not only will you get paid for completing tasks yourself, but you will earn up to 10% commission when someone you refer to the community completes a task or purchase the reward credits.
Get Paid Social Review – Types of Memberships
Get Paid Social has 2 types of Membership.
Free and Premium.
As a Free Member,
- You are allowed to complete only 10 tasks each day.
- You must pay $10 to unlock Survey Market Place to fill in surveys.
- You are allowed to complete only 10 surveys each day.
- Earn 40% processing fee on task rewards of direct referrals only.
- Not eligible for commissions if your direct referral upgrades to Premium. It will pass up to the next Premium member up the line.
As a Premium Member,
- You are allowed to complete unlimited tasks each day.
- You are allowed to complete unlimited surveys each day.
- Earn 80% processing fee on task rewards of direct referrals.
- Earn 40% transaction fees and listing fees from direct referrals.
- Earn 10% transaction fees and listing fees from direct referrals’ referral (2nd Tier)

Note:
Processing Fee is the 20% deducted from your reward amount. Eg. your reward is $10, $2 will be deducted to share with the premium members.
Transaction Fee is the amount you pay extra to buy reward credits or the amount you pay to list a task.

It was something I really wanted to be able to do, however too many free members took advantage of the system, were dishonest, disrespectful to my team and just caused too many problems. We tried it with FREE memberships and it didn’t work. If you want to move forward with GPS, you will need to activate your premium membership for only $9.97/month plus a one-time $10 setup fee. Why the flip-flopping?
Nobody is viewing ads because Free Members are not upgrading?
What happen to those members who upgraded to Premium when Jeff Long “threatened” to deactivate their accounts and forfeit their earnings?!?
Get Paid Social Review – How much does Premium Membership cost?

Jeff Long had made the changes to the fees giving the following reasons,

Because it is taking time to build up the TASK marketplace and there are NOT yet 100+ tasks per day to complete, I have decided to drastically LOWER the monthly Premium membership cost while we build up the marketplace and work together to get more TASKS for all members to complete.
The PREMIUM membership is now only $9.97/month + a one-time small $10 set-up fee.
For members who were paying $27/month…your subscriptions have been automatically cancelled and you will need to RE-ACTIVATE your membership for ONLY $4.97/month + a small one-time $10 re-activation and setup fee. You may do so at the bottom of this page, or from within your GPS members area.
If you were paying $97/year BEFORE Feb 5th, 2016, your membership will renew at only $47/year!
The $197 LIFE-TIME Premium membership option is BACK for those who don’t want any more subscriptions to worry about! It does NOT include a seat in the traffic rotator. – Jeff Long
It is a little confusing now.
Why would new premium members have to pay higher at $9.97/month or $97/year AFTER Feb 5th 2016 since there are NOT yet 100+ tasks per day at the TASK marketplace?
This I do not understand.
Get Paid Social Review – My Personal Take
Personally, I think the Get Paid Social platform is quite a clever concept to leverage on 2 groups of people.
People who want to earn money and Internet Marketer who wants traffic and engagement.
However, I have some concerns as follows.
#1 Very little tasks available.
Indeed, for the past few days, I have been logging in Get Paid Social while doing this research review, I see maximum 5 Tasks available at times.
Once you completes a task and gets the reward, the task will disappear from your TASK Marketplace.
Some Tasks gets completed so fast by 100,000’s members and it also disappear from your TASK Marketplace within minutes.
Now as I am writing this review, as a Free Member, there are only 3 Tasks available exactly as you see above.
2 of them (Hungree) are created by Jeff Long.
#2 BUGS still persisted.
I clicked on a Task today to visit a website for $0.05.
It showed me a blank page and a counter counting down from 30 secs.
After the counter reaches 0.00, a [Get Reward] button appear.
For the whole 30sec, I did not see any website loaded, but I still earn $0.04 (20% processing fee deducted) when I hit the [Get Reward] button.
I fear if I create a task for the community to visit my website, this will happen to me too. My reward credit bought will be wasted.
#3 Confusing Transaction fee and Processing fee structure.
I really think that this fee structure should be simplified for commission calculations.
#4 Paying to fill in Surveys
Jeff Long has claimed that the new Survey Market Place has 500 surveys to fill in now and some pay up to a $1 for each survey completed.
I have participated in several survey companies before and never did I pay a single cent to them for taking surveys.
I am not in favor that Free members have to pay $10 to unlock the Survey Market Place to take surveys.
Also, Surveys Companies requires matching demographics to fill out specific surveys.
Jeff Long did not mention about this in his New Survey Market Place.
Yes, Get Paid Social have 500 Surveys for the community. Can you fill every one of them?
It seems to me Jeff Long’s answer is YES you can!

Coming back to the question, can Get Paid Social help you become financially free?
My answer is a definite NO unless you recruit 1000s under you to click or upgrade to Premium.
Do not get too naive to think by clicking the tasks that pay you cents you can earn enough to fire your boss.
You can see the average payout to 100,000’s of people is only $0.433 cents currently for the 3 months Get Paid Social become live.
To become Financially Free, I am for an alternative.

I rated Get Paid Social 3.5 stars because I think it is a clever concept and it may work for some if the traction for tasks creation picks up.
I agree that Get Paid Social is still new and requires a lot of ironing to straighten some flaws.
It does have huge potentials if 1000s of marketers are willing to create tasks every day for the community to earn money and gaining their objectives at the same time. It will create a positive spiral where everyone will benefit.
At the moment, Jeff Long is reducing his Premium Membership price for a limited time to attract more people to the community.
He is also reducing the minimum reward price setting for Marketers to attract more tasks to be created.
I would observe and give Get Paid Social some time and would not jump into Premium Membership yet.
I recommend you to Join as a Free Member first to get familiar with the platform, T&C and get updated with the new changes regularly.

You are absolutely right, this Get Paid Social concept may not be suitable for all.
It may be suitable for one who whats to earn a few dollars of spare change during their spare time only.

I agree with your review of Get Paid Social. Being a premium member is a little better then being a free member as you don’t have to pay to unlock the surveys.
And you are correct the tasks are not what they said it would be when they launched. I have made a fair amount of money but not enough to make an income.
The surveys pretty much I have not seen 500. I have only seen 5-10 that I could try to complete. I have done a few but those you won’t get the reward for until 60 days which kind of sucks but then again it will add up and I will be able to get a bigger amount.
Get Paid Social right now is definitely of something to just do every day in your spare time and just let it add up until you feel you want to withdraw. Even if it takes a few months it’s still more money in your pocket.
