Black Friday Promotion 2016! – My Personal Take.
But there was only one problem when I wanted to take advantage of the Black Friday Promotion. My yearly membership will end in early Nov, just 3 weeks before the Black Friday Promotion happens.
After seeking answers from the WA community, I realised the best way to enjoy the Black Friday Promotion is to let my current yearly membership runs out by cancelling it first.
Do note that there will be no refund for the remaining unused premium fees at the point of cancellation. Wealthy Affiliate will allow you to access the premium features until the expiry date kicks in.
It’ll be safe to backup your website first for a peace of mind.
However, Kyle let me know that I can actually cancel and then apply for the monthly premium first.
I did not know we can do this! All thanks to Kyle’s advice.
After cancelling, I reapply for the monthly premium membership first. In this case, the unused premium of my earlier yearly membership is considered for the poor rating of the monthly premium. I paid slightly lesser than $49.
This is important because once you cancel the premium membership, you are not reverted back to the starter membership.
If you are working on the Affiliate Bootcamp, you might lose out on the commissions if your membership status is cancelled. (Need to clarify with Kyle on this.)
