DirectCPV Review – I almost registered with DirectCPV. Luckily I did my research first and I am relieved that I did not put my money with them. Let me reveal all in my research review.

Overview: A traffic driving company though Click Per View advertising methodology. Utilise pop-up or pop-under window to re-direct a potential customer to an advertiser’s website when he/she keyed in a targeted website URL or keyword that was bidden by the advertiser.
DirectCPV Review – How does it work?
When I first learned about Click Per View advertising, I was intrigued by it very much.
Why?
Because you can HIJACK other’s traffic sort of legally!
How does DirectCPV work?
- DirectCPV would create free and useful software for Internet Users to install on their browsers. Something like Yahoo’s toolbar.
- This creates a large number of Internet Users under their network.
- They sell advertising packages to Advertisers. (Minimum $100 deposit)
- They ask the Advertiser to bid for their targeted URLs or Keywords. (Targeted URLs could be their Competitor’s web site URL!!)
- When an Internet User with DirectCPV’s software installed, keyed in the competitor’s website URL, a pop-up or pop-under window will appear with the Advertiser’s website URL and some advertising text.
- Internet User was hijacked and redirected to the advertiser’s website if they clicked on the advertisement.
- DirectCPV would deduct the bid amount from Advertiser’s account for each redirected Internet User’s click.
You understand better now? I could hijack my competitor’s traffic and certainly they can do the same to me or others too.
I wonder whether this is fair practice in the Internet Marketing industry where this will create an environment where Internet Marketeer undercut one another.
This is totally different from Google Adsense where Internet Marketer bid for the keywords and the top bidder’s ads will be shown on the first page of search results.
DirectCPV is just one of the many CPV advertising companies out there. All of them worked on the same principle.
Some are good and some are bad. I would just focus on DirectCPV in this research review for now.
DirectCPV Review – Human or Bots?
This is very subjective as we have no way to understand how DirectCPV work at the backend.
- How DirectCPV reach out to the Internet Users?
- What kind of software tools do they offer to the Internet Users?
- Are their tools geographic or demographic targeted? Etc.
- Bots?
Surprisingly, there are comments at Warrior Forum that claimed DirectCPV’s Traffic is fake.

I also found a Youtube Video of this poor guy explaining how he got scammed.

Nevertheless, there are some positive reviews at Warrior Forum DirectCPV too.
“DirectCPV traffic is good if you have an established campaign that is performing well on the top tier networks and you looking to squeeze some extra $$$ out of it. I would not recommend starting there especially beginners, as you will blow your budget and it may scare you away from PPV as a whole.” – w3bTools

DirectCPV Review – My Personal Take
After my research on DirectCPV, I would not use it based on the negative reviews and the video proof of bots being used in their system.
A minority may experience good results. I would guess that these probably the lucky few who really tapped on the real human traffic of DirectCPV’s network where the follow conditions meet,
- Internet Users installed DirectCPV’s software or tools.
- Internet Users who fall in the right geographic and demographic of the advertisers’ niche.
- Advertiser’s sales pitch converts well.

I rated this product 1.0 stars because the majority reviews are negative and there is video proof that show DirectCPV is using Bots.
1.0 starts for those lucky advertisers who really benefited from DirectCPV’s real human traffic.
Personally, I think Wealthy Affiliate is the best place to learn about Affiliate Marketing Business as a good alternative for learning how to build targeted traffic. I would highly recommend it if you can go through the free* Online Entrepreneur Certification Course (Level 1) to have the first-hand experience of how to build your targeted traffic for your Affiliate Marketing Business.

I have doubts about their traffic source and from the video you shared, it looked bogus to me too. I guess I am not going to waste my money this way!

Yup, you did the right thing to research more before putting the money down with DirectCPV. You could research more on other CPV (Cost Per View) companies if your really what to try this method of gaining traffic. Just noted that it may cost you a lot of money before you can see the right results from your campaigns. Not as easy as it seems, needs a lot of trials and tests.
On the other hand, generating free organic traffic is a good alternative. Wealthy Affiliate teaches you how. Head over there and take a look and I am sure you could pick up some methods and it’s free to join.
