MoneyCroc Review

When I first came to this MoneyCroc site, I was impressed with MoneyCroc’s owner creative way of attracting visitors to its website.

More impressively, it has ranked top on the first page when people searching for “Free Money“!

Let’s take a closer look at this “Lottery” site in this review.

MoneyCroc Review – Match the image to win USD50, USD10 or USD5

MoneyCroc Lottery Image

To win any amount, you need to have a matching image after you clicked the [Try again] button. E.g. [NJ] on the left must match another [NJ] on the right.

Each time you clicked (max 50 tries per day), the advertisements on the page will be refreshed and rotated to attract your attention.

If you are the one in a million to find a match, you hit the [I won $50] and key in your Paypal account details.

There are other lower winning options available with higher odds of winning.

MoneyCroc Win USD5

MoneyCroc Review – Did anyone win anything from MoneyCroc.com?

Yep! Someone has won and received the money.

MoneyCroc Review – Site security and safety

One usually has to be careful when accessing to such site because phishing sites are fraudulent now in the online world.

A check with Scamadviser.com returns the following result.

Moneycroc low trust rating

Make sure you have your Anti-Virus software installed if you still want to try your luck there!

Will I keep trying my luck there? Definitely nope.

I would rather spend my time building an Online Passive Income Stream instead.

MoneyCroc Review – Final Verdict

MoneyCroc
Owner: Unknown
Overall Rating: 0.0 / 5.0

Personally, I feel that it is completely a waste of time clicking the button again and again, hoping to win. Looking at the flashing advertisement gives me a headache too.

I thought that this kind of website may get removed from the SERP by Google’s ranking algorithm sooner or later because it contains just pure affiliate links and advertising ads.

Other than that, I do not see any valuable contents at this website but just advertisements and a waste of people’s time.

I rate MoneyCroc 0.0 stars because it will never help anyone make a Passive Income Online.

Thanks for the heads up on this site.

There are just too many of them about and they seem to pray on peoples weaknesses, such as gambling in this case.

Keep the reviews coming. The more people are made aware of these scam sites, the safer we’ll be – Martyn

    1. Edmund Post author

Hi Martyn, you are welcome. There are way too many scams online to tap on the greed of human beings.
I hope this post will reach out to as many as it could and save people time and money.

I definitely will update in my future posts if I come across any scam site again.

Hi Omid, I would call it a waste of time. Some people played for a long time but did not win anything. Some people win in a matter of days of playing. It’s about your luck I guess.

The website is rated not safe to use, I would advise you not to visit it if your care about online security and privacy.

First: I won $50 after playing for 3 weeks. And money croc did pay me.

Second: I disagree with ALL your arguments:

    1) You wrote: “If I come accross any scam site again”
    Obviously, it’s not a scam.

    2) You wrote: “This kind of website may get ban by Google’s ranking algorith sooner or later because it has no values” ???!#!#!??????
It’s a lottery site! It’s not about quantum physics! Do you know any lottery site that “has values”?

    3) You wrote: “I would call it a waste of time” “Save people time and money”
All lotteries in the world are a waste of time and money! Do you win all lotteries all the time? At least moneycroc is free (save money??????)

    4) You wrote: “I would advise you not to visit it if you care about online security and privacy”
I checked this site with Google’s Avast, and it says “This site is safe”. Period.

Finally, if anyone knows other working lottery-like websites which is free, please list them. I’m serious.

    1. Edmund Post author

Hi Liam Nolan, first of all, I would like to congratulate you for winning $50! You are a testimony for Moneycroc.com! I did mentioned that people do win sometime too.

      Let me address your concerns:
      1) Never did once I mentioned in my article that this site is a scam site. Other than I was replying to a comment that I will update other scam sites if I come across them.
You do not have to be too defensive and sensitive about this.

      2) You are right, moneycroc.com is not about quantum physics. What I am referring here is from Google’s point of view on content marketing. Google’s search algorithm strives to provide the best user experience and will constantly updating it too. Have you heard of “Penguin” or “Panda” updates?

      3) You agreed that all lotteries in the world are a waste of time and money. What is there to disagree about?
What is your time invested vs return of $50? Three weeks? Time = money my friend. Sitting in front of the computer for 3 weeks and earn $50?
I do not know what is the method you use to click on the button, but at least when you buy lottery, you can still do other valuable things in your life like spending time with family, and just check your lottery tickets on draw date.

      4) Since Google’s avast has rated this site safe, I guess you are alright to keep visiting this site if you trust Avast. Its a personal choice.
Do you not give credibility to other site checking company like scamadvisor.com?

Finally, moneycroc is not “free”. You are paying with your time and effort to eyeball their advertisements. When you viewed (impression) or clicked on the advertisement and buy something, they will earn a commission. That is how they make money from you.

      Wishing you the best!

      1. Liam Nolan

        Hi again,

I wanted to comment some points:

        1) You wrote: “Google’s search algorithm strives to provide the best experience”
You’re right. You can find moneycroc in the first place when you look for “free money”. It’s not by chance, it’s been Google’s algorithm that has placed it there! Google’s algorithm decided moneycroc is the best experience for people who is looking for “free money”. And it’s been there for years.

        2) You wrote: “You agreed that all lotteries in the world are a waste of time and money. What is there to disagree about?”
Are you reviewing moneycroc or are you reviewing lottery in general?

        3) You wrote: “Do you not give credibility to other site checking company like scamadvisor.com”
The answer is: No, I don’t. Scamadvisor is based on the votes of people who don’t know how to lose. It has nothing to do with virus or spyware or the like. Google’s Avast is based on the best antivirus and spyware technology.

        4) You wrote: “moneycroc is not free”
If moneycroc is not free, then there is nothing free in the world, and there will never be.

        Have a nice day!

        1. Edmund Post author

Hi Liam Nolan, good day to you again.

          1) In this case, I wish everyone looking for “free money” good luck at moneycroc.

          2) I mentioned moneycroc is a form of “lottery”.

          3) Noted. Like I say, it’s a personal choice.

          4) Click this >> “Online Entrepreneur Certification Course (Level 1)

I guess I will end our conversation here and will not post further replies from you. You could email me if you need a hand in anything. I sincerely wish you good luck at moneycroc.

  4. Vaca

When the page just started, they pay, I won 2 times 50 dollars, in less than 2 months. That’s at least was in 2010 or 2009 I don’t remember, but now the page is totally a scam! They pay only when the page just started so the people trust them, but now, now it’s a scam bigger than a shit.

    1. Edmund Post author

Hi Vaca, thank you for sharing your own experience with us. I believe the readers of this article will appreciate your honest feedback too.

      Wishing you the best!

      1. Biker Chapman

Hi. I won last week twice $50 it’s not a scan some people can play it 4 1000000 years and not win but someone can win first try.

        1. Edmund Post author

          Hi, Biker.

Congratulation to your winning twice! You are a lucky chap!
Yup, the winning is true, just that the time spent clicking may not be worth it. This is exactly like a lottery! 🙂

          Wishing you the best!

  5. David White

I have been trying for about two months now to win the 5 dollar prize and finally did it. While this isn’t the most efficient way they kept true to their word and sent the money to my PayPal in less than 10 minutes. Would I recommend this website to someone wanting to strike rich, probably not. However if you have some free time each day you can use your 50 free chances each day. I do mine while I’m donating plasma.

TLDR-Took 2 months to win and got $5. I am happy and will probably keep doing it in my spare time.

    1. Edmund Post author

Hi David, congratulation on your win! You are one of the lucky few who won $5 albeit higher chances with lowest win value.

I agree, doing it during your spare time is just like playing any short mobile game to pass some time. I am glad you mentioned that Moneycroc is honest and efficient
when dispatching the winning to it’s players too.

On the other hand, would you like to invest your spare time to write on things that you are passionate about, such as plasma donation experiences and earn some money through Google Adsense or some affiliate products related to plasma donation?

Although you may not earn any cents within 2 months, but if you continue to build your review blogs during your spare time, the time invested in the long run will probably generate passive income online when your review blog gain viewerships and tractions.

It’s really up to you because every individual has different aspiration in life. If you do like my recommendation, Wealthy Affiliate is providing free* training and website for you to do this.

Wishing you the best and respect to you for donating plasma to help the one in needs.

  6. Chris W.

    So here is the deal,

After realizing they can only cut you off by IP address, I realized that you can have as many tries each day as you want just by changing the IP address. Each time it gives you fifty tries and I was trying 100 times a day. At 50 tries each time that comes to 5,000 times daily. It was done for 50 days for a total of 250,000 tries. Not once did it give a match!

Another problem was that the contact button is not real! When you click it, you are asked to enter a prize code as if you had won anything. http://www.moneycroc.com/contactus.html just to show what I mean. When you cannot even contact someone that is always a major red flag!

Pretty much all the ads on the site are affiliate links and because of this, it means that In the end all you have is a unique incentive to create a high traffic site which brings some advertisement value.

People may say there is no investment for you but that is not true either considering the fact you are investing your time and hopes! You may be lucky and win $5 (though not likely either) but $50 isn’t going to happen.

I hope this helps and hopefully, no one else wastes any time on this because it is EXACTLY what the name implies…a complete “CROC!”

    1. Edmund Post author

Hey, Chris! Thanks for sharing your own experience with the “CROC”! 🙂

I am totally with you when you mentioned that people are investing their time and hope. Money Croc is monetary free but, there is a social cost when you are playing it.

      Wishing you the best!

    2. Mark Fisher

Chris, you’re saying you played 250,000 tries. Maybe you didn’t read moneycroc’s FAQ –> “What happens if I use a proxy or a bot?
Our system monitors proxy and bot traffic and, even though you can keep playing normally, you won’t get any prize.”

You’ve been warned! people are using proxies to get more tries, but moneycroc is telling you can’t do it if you wanna win.

About Vaca, he’s complaining he won $100!! I can’t believe it! I’m still waiting for my first prize. People should take moneycroc as a game, not as a way of living. Just take it easy!

      1. Edmund Post author

        Hi Mark!

Thank you for pointing out the FAQ from Moneycroc. A good warning to players who what to play.

I think Vaca was complaining that it was easier to win when Moneycroc was still new in 2009/10, but it is getting more difficult to win nowadays.

I look forward to you coming back and let us know you have won your first prize and how long you took. 🙂

Wishing you the best of luck!

  7. Brandy Delaney

You’re all wrong when you say Moneycroc is not free.

You seem to consider it a job in which there is an input -> your work -> and you get an output -> your wages. But Moneycroc is not a job neither an ATM.

For example, in the last five months, I’ve won twice ($50 and $10). For sure $60 isn’t worth the time I’ve spent on it. But whether I participate in sweepstakes, raffles or lotteries that’s not the important thing.

It’s a game. Play it or not. You win or not. But if you need a salary, just forget Moneycroc and look for a job. Playing Moneycroc as a job doesn’t make any sense.

    1. Edmund Post author

Hi Brandy! Congrats to you for striking two wins in the past 5 months!

You hit the nail on the head when you mentioned that Moneycroc is just a game and not a job. I totally agree with you. For sure it is not going to let anyone achieve Financial Freedom either.

Yes, it is monetary free. It will be forever free of charge because they need people to click on the button to spin the lottery and view the ads. However, as you mentioned, you have used your time for the last five months to play it and it isn’t worth the time.

Thanks for sharing your own experience and thought with us. Wishing you the best of luck!

  8. Plate

First of all, Scamadviser you used in this post gives random ratings. It can say that example.com is bad. I don’t recommend to use it. (One alternative to Scamadvisor is Web Of Trust)

Second, as you said, winning 50USD is very, very rare.
But, I always play for 5$.

Also, I thought it was scam/waste of time. But then, I got those images to match. I clicked “I won 5$!” And it asks for my PayPal info. I gave it, and to my surprise, –I received my money!–

And yes, it is not worth it. You can win but it’s so rare that you actually waste that time you use to play it(especially at 50$).

    1. Edmund Post author

      Hi, Plate.

      Congrats on winning your $5!

Thanks for your recommendation of Web Of Trust, I will look into using it in the future.

Yup, you need to depreciate your personal Time Bank to play this game. 🙂
Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us too.

      Wishing you the best!

  9. Yuan

Tried for a few days but after a while, I get bored and lose interest in it. However the advertisement on making money was quite tempting so log in a few to try but I didn’t join because after reading the whole thing through in the end they want us to PAY to join in order to make money!

I thought it was a whole bunch of crap and scam. I’m already poorer than a church mouse and I’m not going to lose my last $50 joining some survey company in order to make money which is no guarantee at all!

    1. Edmund Post author

      Hi, Yuan.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us. You have precisely shown us how MoneyCroc works.

They want you to play, at the same time see their ads. Got you interested, you signed up and they get their affiliate commissions. Sadly, there are many scam products in the Online Marketing World, telling you can get rich quick and fast.

I am really proud of you that you actually read the whole thing through before you pull the cash out of your pocket. Making real money Online is not an easy task. I sincerely recommend anyone with interest to pursue an Online Income take up the free* Online Entrepreneur Certification Course at Wealthy Affiliate to see if you are really suitable.

      Wishing you the best!

  10. Stephan

Definitely not a scam, I’ve just won $10. But the odds are REALLY, really low. I’ve been tapping that button for a few months now, haha! Not daily, of course.

    Won $10!

    1. Edmund Post author

      Hi, Stephan.

Congratulation to your winning of $10!

Yup, people do win at MoneyCroc but as you said the odds are REALLY, really low.
It could be even lower if you choose the $50 jackpot. 🙂

    1. Edmund Post author

Good luck to you James! 🙂

Please come back and let us know how long you take to get your first matching image and the amount you play for.

  11. David Robinson

Tried site and after about 500 days of 50 clicks a day, I won a genuine $50 dollars which were promptly sent to my PayPal account. However, when prompted to write a review for an extra $5 also got the warning notice that I was being referred to a suspicious site. Did not go there but will continue clicking for another prize and see what happens. Have good security on my laptop.

    1. Edmund Post author

      Hi, David.

Congratulation on winning the $50 after more than a year of 50 clicks a day. Thank you for letting us know that MoneyCroc does pay promptly too. I am really glad that you had good security on your laptop, else you would have gone on to the suspicious 3rd party site if you were not aware of it.

      Wishing you the best!

  12. David Robinson

    Hi, Edmund.
Regarding my comment, it was about 10 days only at 50 clicks a day, which is strange in itself as a reckon that with all letters and figures being used the average time being successful should be around 3 years at 50 clicks a day.

    1. Edmund Post author

      Hi, David.

Thanks for the update. Yup, MoneyCroc really works like a lottery. Some will strike it within a short time while some spend years trying.
Congrats on your good luck! Perhaps if you are trying again, let us know your next win takes how long.

      Best regards,
      Edmund
